Description

Topic of this thesis is the design and realization of an exemplary collaborative project-managementsystem based on a service oriented integration with Oracle Collaboration Suite.

A collaborative project-management-system is nowadays indispensable for controlling and supervisioning of software projects. Projects have to be defined with appropriate tasks and the processing should be observed. Team members of projects should be bound optimal by a collaborative environment. The members should be provided with documents, e-mails, discussions and instant messaging and mainly with their respective tasks of the project context based on the project plan in this collaborative project environment. Moreover the project members should have the possibility to record time for the tasks.

The goal of this thesis is to prioritize the functional modules. The most important components plus a description of their structure and functionality should be implemented. Important main issues are:

Decoupling of presentation and logic layer
Flexibility and adaptively of functionality and user interface layout
Intuitive project planning
Task distribution and task tracking
Integration with Oracle Collaboration Suite
